Has natural ability at the shortstop position, including quick feet and a very good throwing arm. Usually makes solid, consistent contact at the plate. A former switch-hitter, he struggled from the right side and abandoned it. Therefore, he must prove capable of hitting left-handers regularly. Lacks power.
