Reyes agreed to a minor-league contract with the White Sox on Friday that includes an invitation to major-league spring training, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Scouting Report
Generates solid contact most of the time and can hit for average. Has enough range to play center field, and enough of a throwing arm to play right field. Is also a stolen-base threat. Needs to prove he can hit for more home-run power in order to play every day in Major League Baseball. Also needs to become a more efficient stolen-base threat to maximize output.
Long Range Potential: Talented, toolsy outfielder with upside.
