The Milwaukee Brewers acquired pitcher Kyle Lobstein from the Washington Nationals for cash.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
Veteran Lobstein (he turns 32 next month) should provide some bullpen depth from the left side for the rest of the 2021 campaign. For now, he will pitch at Triple-A Nashville.
What does it give the Washington Nationals
The Nationals got back cash here, after they had designated Lobstein for assignment. The southpaw made three appearances for Washington this season, but his numbers were ugly.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as Lobstein is merely a depth option out of the Milwaukee bullpen. In fact, there are no guarantees that he will pitch in MLB.
