RED SOX GET ROBLES FROM MINNY

The Boston Red Sox acquired pitcher Hansel Robles from the Minnesota Twins for pitcher Alex Scherff.

What does it give the Boston Red Sox
The Dominican pitcher should help Boston down the stretch. Soon to be 31, Robles could be in the mix for saves along with Adam Ottavino and Matt Barnes.

What does it give the Minnesota Twins
Scherff is a reliever who has not pitched above Double-A ball, but he may become a part of MInny's bullpen in the future. He is a decent pickup.

Fantasy impact
Robles may be a source of saves down the stretch, so he could be a decent pickup if he is available in fantasy leagues. Scherff is more of a long-range reliever, so he does not need to be picked up in keeper formats at this time.
