In his second WHL campaign, the diminutive winger produced at over a point-per-game clip for the Winnipeg Ice. He is a gifted offensive contributor thanks mostly to his hockey IQ; he thinks the game far better than most, which enables him to anticipate plays more quickly than the others on the ice. Can score goals as well as set up teammates but lacks optimal size and strength. Also, he is not an elite skater (which can pose a problem considering his lack of bulk) for the highest level. Must prove he can continue to produce regularly as he climbs the developmental ladder.
