Scouting Report
Boasted excellent playmaking ability, great hands and an uncanny way of getting into openings. Great with the puck when under pressure, his hockey sense and defensive acumen were off the charts. An excellent skater, he could line up either at center or wing. A determined player, he excelled on face-offs. Was prone to the occasional scoring slump. Since he was only 6-0, 197 pounds, his body wore down over the course of the long season (especially since he often faced top-line opponents on a nightly basis and was asked to do a LOT for his club). A back problem prematurely ended his NHL career.
Long Range Potential: Elite two-way forward.
