The No. 2 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft is a big, strong forward who is still trying to get his career on track; injuries continue to be an issue as he approaches what should be the prime of his career. When he is at full strength, he plays a mature game with plenty of skill. He has a terrific hockey pedigree: former NHL forward Steve Patrick is his dad and longtime defenseman James Patrick is his uncle.
