The Brewers and Milner avoided arbitration Wednesday by agreeing to a one-year, $2.05 million contract, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Milner tossed a scoreless eighth inning in Tuesday's 7-3 victory over the Twins.
A versatile left-hander who can both start and relieve in the minor leagues, though he appears to have found his niche pitching out of the bullpen. Can strike batters out regularly as a reliever. Must fill out his 6-2 frame in a big way, since he is significantly undersized for a pitcher in Major League Baseball. Can get beat by the home run quite often, so he must keep his pitches down.
Long Range Potential: Decent left-hander.
