The Twins placed Buxton on the 10-day injured list Friday with right knee inflammation, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Buxton (knee) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Red Sox, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.
Generates tremendous bat speed, so he has plenty of untapped power potential. Super fast, he can cover the ground in center field and be a real threat on the basepaths. The jury is out on his long-range home-run upside. He'll need to bulk up significantly in order to maximize his potential as a run producer. Injuries are a problem here.
Long Range Potential: Athletic, toolsy outfielder with upside, when healthy.
