Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Monday that Flexen could enter the rotation in place of the injured Shota Imanaga (hamstring), Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Scouting Report
Owns a hulking frame. Displays great movement on his quality fastball, while his curveball and changeup are also solid offerings. His delivery is not smooth, so repeating it can be a bit problematic. Therefore, he needs to find a level of consistency in his delivery to maximize output at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Versatile right-hander.
