Kemp signed a minor-league contract with the Twins on Tuesday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Scouting Report
Is a pure hitter who makes solid contact most of the time and can hit for a high average. Displays doubles power and some base-stealing speed. Can play both the infield and outfield. Does not have a lot of home-run power, which can sometimes limit his playing time in Major League Baseball. Also lacks high-end defensive ability, no matter what position he plays.
Long Range Potential: Versatile contact hitter.
