The Mets signed Poche to a minor-league contract Wednesday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Scouting Report
Owns an ideal pitchers' frame. Can generate tremendous deception with his delivery, which usually leads to piles of strikeouts at all levels. His best pitch is his fastball, which almost always looks faster than what the radar gun suggests. Also throws a decent curve. If he could harness his control a little bit, he could dominate in MLB. Injuries can also be a factor here. Also needs to gain greater stamina for the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Deceptive left-hander.
