Davenport has agreed to sign a one-year contract with the Lions after playing only four games for the Vikings in 2023 due to a high-ankle sprain, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Scouting Report
Towers over the line of scrimmage. Good arm length helps him get leverage against blockers. Can make plays sideline-to-sideline thanks to his foot speed. Powerful and explosive off the snap. Shows superb agility and footwork against blockers. He has very small hands for a defensive lineman, limiting him in man-to-man situations. Needs to add more muscle and strength to deal with mammoth blockers.
Long Range Potential: Potential star defensive lineman.
