Donato notched two assists and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Donato scored a goal, took three shots on goal and added six hits in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Senators.
The son of former NHL forward Ted Donato played for his father at Harvard University before turning pro. He is also a forward, and a little bigger than his dad, who has the creativity and hockey sense good scorers need at the NHL level. His skating is only OK; he lacks the extra gear that would make him a really dangerous scorer. Has had great success in shootouts, where his main assets can shine.
