The Mets signed Cabrera to a minor-league contract Wednesday that includes an invitation to spring training, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
His pure, raw stuff is impressive and potentially dominant. His fastball can reach the upper 90's and his cutter is a real weapon on the mound. He also features a decent changeup. However, he needs to improve his command in order to maximize output in MLB (to that end, he may need to throw his fastball with less velocity for increased and better movement).
Long Range Potential: Raw, talented left-hander with good upside.
