Coach Billy Donovan said Friday that Ball (wrist) will likely need at least another week of rehabilitation before returning to game action, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Ball isn't wearing a brace on his right wrist Monday and is slated to resume basketball activities in the coming days, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Shows top-tier court vision and passing / playmaking instincts, with the ability to run the offense impressively. He uses his height to exploit mismatches against smaller opponents, and does a nice job penetrating and finding his teammates. Fast, athletic, instinctive, and creative. He also gets his share of steals and rebounds. Shooting is a major issue: he has an awkward shooting stroke with a low release point, and he's not a high-flying finisher (factors hurting his field goal percentage). He also really struggles on free throws. Additionally, man-to-man defense is a challenge: he's thin, doesn't have a long wingspan, and lacks explosiveness.
Long Range Potential: Tall, creative pass-first point guard with some star tools.
