Lapierre registered an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Devils.
Lapierre managed an assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
What stands out about him is his innate ability to produce points. Is somewhat of an old-school, classic playmaking center with tremendous vision and excellent passing skills. Owns very good hockey sense and is able to play a responsible, two-way game. Lacks bulk and strength, which he will need in order to maximize output at the highest level. Also, he already registers a lengthy injury history (including several concussions). Therefore, he needs to prove he can stay healthy over an extended period of time.
Long Range Potential: Smart, productive playmaking center with upside (when healthy).
