Scouting Report
The big strong forward was a defense-first player, whether he played center or wing. His career scoring totals did not match his draft pedigree (No. 21 overall in 2010) but he was effective in a shutdown role (and when his team was shorthanded). He was a professional on and off the ice, and he adapted well to his role as a depth player.
Long Range Potential: Big checking forward and penalty killer.
