A solid downhill runner, he had good size, some shiftiness, great competitive fire and patience as a runner. Had solid blocking skills and terrific hands for the receiving game. Lacked elite wheels. Had average cut-back ability and could struggle at times to find the hole. His overall physical attributes were not that great. Lacked polish.
