A great zone-stretch runner who was excellent reading his blocks, cutting back, and exploding through the hole. Could really make things happen in the open field. Also good as a receiver, and underrated as a blocker. A charismatic personality who kept things light in the locker room. Logged a lot of mileage and became increasingly injury-prone and inconsistent. Lost some speed & occasionally looked sluggish (especially late in seasons). Sometimes caused distractions with his off-field behavior.
