Scouting Report
A matchup nightmare for defensive coordinators, he could outrun most linebackers and all but the very best safeties in the NFL. Had outstanding body control and could make highlight-reel catches routinely. Generated yards after the catch with aplomb. Was not a pure route runner and did not play as physically as he should at times, but his talent won out most of the time. Blocked just well enough to keep his coaches happy. Became somewhat prone to injury over time but, overall, was a very durable and long-lasting tight end.
Long Range Potential: One of the greatest tight ends of all time.
