DODGERS BOOST BULLPEN, GET LEFTY YSLA

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired pitcher Luis Ysla from the Boston Red Sox for cash.

What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
Ysla is a lefty reliever with good strikout potential, but he has been struggling this season in Double-A ball (posting a 5.05 ERA). The Dodgers obviously like his potential (he is still relatively young at 25) so they take a chance here and add him to their 40-man roster.

What does it give the Boston Red Sox
The Red Sox needed to open up a space on their 40-man roster after the recent acquisition of infielder Eduardo Nunez, so Ysla became the odd man out. Boston might miss Ysla down the road, but he was a fairly obvious choice to be moved following this season's struggles.

Fantasy impact
Ysla is not close to being major league-relevant, so there is no notable fantasy impact here for either the Red Sox or Dodgers.
