The Brewers decided to bring in Kratz as a veteran backup to starter Manny Pina, which would have likely been Stephen Vogt's role had he been healthy.
What does it give the New York Yankees
The Yankees had little use for Kratz, especially with Gary Sanchez, Austin Romine and Kyle Higashioka in the system. So, they moved him and get Rijo, a somewhat-toolsy and versatile middle infielder.
Fantasy impact
There is nothing to see here, as Kratz will not see enough playing time behind the plate for Milwaukee to become a fantasy factor and Rijo hasn't done enough yet to be on the fantasy prospect radar.
