MIAMI BRINGS IN BOSTICK FROM THE BUCS

The Miami Marlins acquired infielder Christopher Bostick from the Pittsburgh Pirates for cash.

What does it give the Pittsburgh Pirates
In Bostick, the Marlins add a depth infielder who can play several different positions. He is mostly a backup/utility infielder at the highest level, but he may see more action in Miami.

What does it give the Miami Marlins
The Pirates had recently designated Bostick for assignment, so they were at least able to get back some cash in exchange for his services. Clearly, Bostick was not in Pittsburgh's plans.

Fantasy impact
There is not much fantasy upside here, as Bostick is mostly a utility infielder without much offensive firepower to speak of.
