PAZOS PICKED UP BY COLORADO
The Colorado Rockies acquired pitcher James Pazos from the Philadelphia Phillies for infielder Hunter Stovall.
What does it give the Colorado Rockies
The Rockies hope Pazos can become a part of their bullpen picture at some point this season. Pazos, who turns 28 next month, has pitched in parts of four seasons in MLB prior to his acquisition. So, he should help Colorado at some point in 2019.
What does it give the Philadelphia Phillies
Pazos was acquired by the Phillies in the big Carlos Santana trade with Seattle this past off-season, but he failed to make the team out of spring training and was subsequently designated for assignment. Stovall is a marginal prospect, at best.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as Pazos must first get recalled by the Rockies and become a prominent member of their bullpen (which may or may not happen this season). As for Stovall, he does not hold any fantasy value.
