DODGERS DO A DEAL FOR NEGRON

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired infielder/outfielder Kristopher Negron from the Seattle Mariners for infielder Daniel Castro.

What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers love versatility and that is Negron's best asset. With Enrique Hernandez and Chris Taylor currently injured, Negron serves a short-term purpose in Los Angeles as a utility man.

What does it give the Seattle Mariners
Negron did not last very long in Seattle but he served a role as a versatile player. The Mariners are hoping for the same with Castro, a 26-year-old infielder with modest upside. Castro has 98 MLB games under his belt.

Fantasy impact
Move it along. There is nothing to see here from a fantasy standpoint. This was a mere swap of utility players.
