The St. Louis Cardinals acquired outfielder Austin Dean from the Miami Marlins for outfielder Diowill Burgos.

Dean, 26, is a decent right-handed batter who could work his way into a platoon role with St. Louis if he enjoys a strong spring training.
What does it give the Miami Marlins
The Marlins recently designated Dean for assignment, so they did well to land the 18-year-old Burgos in this deal.
Fantasy impact
Dean needs to surpass a few other outfielders in St. Louis in order this season to become relevant from a fantasy perspective. For now, keep an eye on him but do not commit to drafting him. As for Burgos, he has long-range fantasy potential but is still several years away. Like Dean, keep an eye on Burgos.
