What does it give the Chicago Cubs
Heilman may finally get his wish to start again in Chicago, though that is not a guarantee. Either way, he adds more pitching depth for the Cubs. Still, if Heilman winds up back in the bullpen, he won't be a happy camper.
What does it give the Seattle Mariners
Olson has a good shot at winning a spot in Seattle's less-than-stellar rotation. Cedeno will likely replace Willie Bloomquist as the club's utility man. Therefore, this is a good deal for Seattle.
