REDS ADD TWO RELIEVERS

The Cincinnati Reds acquired pitchers Luis Cessa and Justin Wilson from the New York Yankees for a player to be named later.

What does it give the Cincinnati Reds
The Reds get two relievers for very little return here (a future asset), so this deal should help Cincinnati (who currently sit seven games behind Milwaukee in the NL Central Division, but third in the Wild Card race).

What does it give the New York Yankees
The Yankees recently added reliever Clay Holmes from the Pirates in a separate deal, so they felt comfortable surrendering both Cessa and Wilson here. Look for the Yankees to continue to make more moves.

Fantasy impact
Cessa was pitching very well for the Yankees this season, so he might be used in important situations by the Reds. Keep an eye on him. As for Wilson, he was struggling this season but may be better off with the Reds. There is no need to pick him up at this time.
