YANKEES ADD ANTHONY RIZZO!

The New York Yankees acquired first baseman Anthony Rizzo and cash from the Chicago Cubs for pitcher Alexander Vizcaino and outfielder Kevin Alcantara.

What does it give the New York Yankees
Wow! The Yankees added yet another power-hitting bat in the form of Rizzo. He and fellow newcomer Joey Gallo (both left-handed bats) will help balance out the order with right-handed sluggers Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge in the Yankees lineup. The Bronx Bombers are certainly trying to live up to their nickname this season!

What does it give the Chicago Cubs
The Cubs said goodbye to their long-time first baseman here, and they paid a little cash as well. However, they did not come away empty-handed. In Vizcaino, Chicago gets a quality pitching prospect who may not be too far away from MLB. As for Alcantara, he is young and raw but full of tools. He might be the Cubs' center-fielder of the future.

Fantasy impact
Rizzo could be a monster at Yankee Stadium, although he will need to adjust quickly after spending his entire MLB career with the Cubs. Both Vizcaino and Alcantara should now be considered more valuable keeper prospects after this trade. Both could be drafted in deep leagues next year.
