In Gray, the Twins get a much-needed starting pitcher for their rotation. He even has a shot at pitching on opening day for his new team. Peguero is more of a roll of the dice for Minny, though one with good stuff.
What does it give the Cincinnati Reds
Petty is all that Cincinnati received for an established starting pitcher (Gray), so obviously the organization is very high on Petty's potential. He has an electric arm, so there may be a big reward here if Cincy is patient.
Fantasy impact
Gray should see his fantasy stock improve moving away from Great American Ball Park. He is a recommendable draft-day option for most leagues. Petty is a decent draft option for very deep keeper formats, while Peguero can be ignored for now.
