HASELEY HEADS TO THE WHITE SOX
The Chicago White Sox acquired outfielder Adam Haseley from the Philadelphia Phillies for pitcher McKinley Moore.
What does it give the Chicago White Sox
In Haseley, the White Sox get a left-handed batter who can play all three outfield positions. He has a chance to see a decent number of at-bats early on in 2022 because of the injury to projected starting right-fielder Andrew Vaughn.
What does it give the Philadelphia Phillies
The Phillies no longer needed Haseley after signing veteran sluggers Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos via free agency recently. So, they dealt him for Moore, a right-handed reliever with a promising arm.
Fantasy impact
Haseley could be a last-round draft consideration in very deep leagues, but he is not expected to keep receiving steady playing time once Vaughn returns from injury. So, he should probably only be someone to keep an eye on for the time being.
