What does it give the San Francisco Giants
The Giants usually do well with reclamation projects, so Calhoun has a chance to become the latest success story. He is not much of a defender but could work his way into a DH platoon by season's end.
What does it give the Texas Rangers
Duggar is currently injured, but he is expected to become a depth option in the Rangers outfield soon. He provides speed and defense but has never been a consistent hitter at the big-league level.
Fantasy impact
Neither Calhoun nor Duggar should be picked up immediately in the vast majority of fantasy leagues. However, keep an eye on both.
