MATT BUSH TO MILWAUKEE
The Milwaukee Brewers acquired pitcher Matt Bush from the Texas Rangers for infielder/outfielder Mark Mathias and pitcher Antoine Kelly.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
Bush has been a strong reliever (and also an opener) for Texas this season. Milwaukee will probably only need him to pitch out of the bullpen.
What does it give the Texas Rangers
Mathias is a handy, versatile player who could emerge as a utility man in Texas at some point. Kelly is an inconsistent pitcher with a live arm and some upside.
Fantasy impact
Bush could see a few holds chances in Milwaukee, but he is unlikely to close ahead of Devin Williams and/or Taylor Rogers. Neither Mathias nor Kelly is much of a fantasy prospect at this time.
