Chargois is a solid bullpen arm, so he should be helpful for the Marlins in 2023. Edwards is a raw infielder with some untapped upside.
What does it give the Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays created a spot on their 40-man roster by sending Chargois to Miami. They also landed a pair of extremely young pitchers for the future.
Fantasy impact
Chargois is more likely to become a setup man than a closer in Miami, but keep an eye on the situation throughout spring training. None of Edwards, Johnson or Suarez have any fantasy value at this time.
