Bolton got his first taste of the big leagues in 2023, working to an unimpressive 6.33 ERA in 21.1 innings. He also posted an ugly WHIP of 2.11 but did strike out 22 batters in those 21.1 innings. Bolton is just 25 years old, so the Mariners must see some potential in the right-hander, who also has experience working in long relief and as a starter.
