PHILLIES TRADE DUNN TO BREWERS
The Milwaukee Brewers acquired infielder Oliver Dunn from the Philadelphia Phillies for infielder Robert Moore and outfielder Hendry Mendez.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
Dunn is a switch-hitting second baseman who could have a shot at earning playing time with the Brewers in 2024. Milwaukee has added him to the 40-man roster, so they clearly have plans for him.
What does it give the Philadelphia Phillies
Moore and Mendez are younger prospects than Dunn, so the Phillies are paying it forward here. Instead of adding Dunn to their 40-man roster, they decided to add two decent position player prospects.
Fantasy impact
All of Dunn, Moore and Mendez are keeper-league prospects for the time being. Dunn is the closest to MLB, so keep an eye on him during spring training.
