DODGERS DEAL HUDSON TO BREWERS
The Milwaukee Brewers acquired pitcher Bryan Hudson from the Los Angeles Dodgers for pitcher Justin Chambers and a player to be named later or cash considerations.
What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers acquired Hudson after he was recently designated for assignment by the Dodgers. He had limited success with the Dodgers but put up great statistics at Triple-A ball in 2023. He should get a chance to compete for a spot in the Brewers bullpen in Spring Training.
What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
Chambers was just selected by the Brewers in the 2023 MLB Draft, so he will start in the lower levels of the Dodgers system. This deal is more about trading a player who used to be on the 40-man roster for one who will not be for a few years. Overall, a good deal for the Dodgers.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact with this trade, as Hudson is no guarantee to make the Brewers and Chambers is very far away from big leagues.
