The Minnesota Twins acquired pitcher Trevor Richards from the Toronto Blue Jays for infielder Jay Harry.
What does it give the Minnesota Twins
Richards has been a versatile reliever during his time in Toronto. He has opened games and has pitched in all situations later in games. His best pitch is his changeup. Expect him to pitch in low-leverage situations out of the Twins bullpen before giving way to the back-end guys. He give the Twins more depth.
What does it give the Toronto Blue Jays
With Richards being a pending free agent and the Jays in selling mode, he was expected to be traded. In return, Harry is 2023 sixth-round draft pick. He profiles as a player who is hard to strike out, but that has changed this season–raising a few questions. He will likely stay in high Single-A ball with Toronto.

Being a low leverage reliever means Richards has no fantasy value. Harry has no value either, as he is only in the low minors.
