The Sox have had their eye out for an extra setup man to share duties with Mike Timlin and Adams can do just that. After a rough start, he's been very reliable in late relief this year, as he has throughout his career.
What does it give the Toronto Blue Jays
Hattig hasn't been considered a significant prospect in the past, but the young third baseman is having a strong year at Double-A and is climbing up the ladder. He has just the skills the Jays like: he hits for average, gets on base and has some power.
