A promising young righty heads the A's way after an impressive season at Triple-A. Just 22, he's a kid who works hard and has low-90s heat and a nice curve. A lot of success has come his way in the minors, but he's been mediocre in his 46 big-league appearances and one knock against him is his relatively slight frame.

The Jays had designated Gaudin for assignment to make room on the roster for new closer B.J. Ryan, so they're happy to get something in return for him.
