The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired pitcher Aaron Heilman from the Chicago Cubs for pitcher Scott Maine and first baseman Ryne White.

In Heilman, the D'backs acquire a versatile right-hander who is expected to pitch in a setup role in 2010. He has bounced around some in recent years, but remains a decent bullpen option. Arizona also got him at a decent price.
What does it give the Chicago Cubs
The Cubs grew a little tired of Heilman's lack of consistency, so they shipped him to Arizona for two prospects. Maine has a chance to win a role as a situational lefty next spring, while White adds depth at first base.
