DODGERS ADD CATCHING INSURANCE

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired catcher Drew Butera from the Minnesota Twins for pitcher Miguel Sulbaran.

What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers have World Series aspirations this year, so they're not leaving any stone unturned. In Butera, they get a wily veteran receiver who'll act as organizational depth down the stretch.

What does it give the Minnesota Twins
The Twins have one of the top catchers in baseball in {P Joe Mauer}, plus an emerging backup in {P Chris Herrmann} , so they had no need for Butera anymore. They won't get much in return here. Lefty Sulbaran has shown good control at Class A this season, so is a solid pitching prospect for the future for Minny.

Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy value here, since the player to be named later in this trade won't be a prospect of any substance. As for Butera, he's mostly a defender.
