In Reed, the Marlins land a 25-year-old left-hander who has made the conversion to reliever this season. He might see some action with Miami before the end of '15.
What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
Dayton is also a left-hander and also a reliever, though he is two years older than Reed. Dayton has put up better numbers so far this season, but has less upside.

Neither Reed nor Dayton should be on anyone's fantasy radar at present time. Reed might have a bit more long-range upside, but neither are great prospects.
