JAYS AT IT AGAIN, LAND SPEEDY OF REVERE

The Toronto Blue Jays acquired outfielder Ben Revere from the Philadelphia Phillies for pitchers Alberto Tirado and Jimmy Cordero.

What does it give the Toronto Blue Jays
The Blue Jays are all in this year, so obviously adding a speedy outfielder like Revere makes a ton of sense (especially in light of Toronto's struggles in left field this season). Look for Revere to play every day and bat either first or ninth in this loaded lineup.

What does it give the Philadelphia Phillies
In exchange for a player Philadelphia had been shopping since the spring, the club acquired a pair of young relievers. Tirado may have better potential than Cordero and may also be closer to reaching the big leagues at this point.

Fantasy impact
Revere's fantasy value could get a nice spike playing in one of baseball's best lineups, so he is a quality pickup for the rest of 2015. Tirado is the better bet to eventually become a big-league reliever with fantasy upside, while Cordero is more of a long shot.
