The A's will take a flier on Doubront, as they are known to be very good at getting mileage out of reclamation projects. This pitcher certainly qualifies.

What does it give the Toronto Blue Jays
Doubront had been designated for assignment recently, and replaced by David Price in Toronto's rotation, so he was deemed more than expendable.

Nothing to see here, as Doubront is just a serviceable swingman who can start in a pinch and be a long man out of the bullpen.
