This is a deal mostly for 2016, as Coulombe has a chance to play a role in Oakland's bullpen next season. He'll showcase himself in the final few weeks of 2015.
What does it give the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers had designated Coulombe for assignment earlier in the week, so they at least received a future asset in exchange for his services.
Fantasy impact
Coulombe may eventually become a fantasy factor out of Oakland's bullpen but he's not a lock by any means. He's barely on the radar at present time.
