YANKEES ACQUIRE ERIC YOUNG JR.

The New York Yankees acquired outfielder/infielder Eric Young Jr. From the Milwaukee Brewers for cash.

What does it give the New York Yankees
Young can still run very well, so he may provide the Yankees with a speedy pinch-running option off the bench in September. He won't likely play much, though.

What does it give the Milwaukee Brewers
The Brewers sold Young to the Yankees, as he was not going to see much playing time in September (the rebuilding Brewers are looking at younger players).

Fantasy impact
Young should provide a few stolen bases down the stretch, but he won't see enough at-bats to become a factor.
