MAVS MAKE MOVE: MILTON FROM SIXERS FOR SPALDING AND ANTETOKOUNMPO

The Philadelphia 76ers acquired the draft rights to swingman Shake Milton from the Dallas Mavericks for the draft rights to center Ray Spalding and combo forward Kostas Antetokounmpo.

What does it give the Dallas Mavericks
Spalding is more ready to help Dallas than Antetokounmpo, but both players might be headed to the G-League early on in their pro careers. That said, both are also fairly promising (and Antetokounmpo has real sleeper potential) so this is a solid move by Dallas to add needed frontcourt youth and depth.

What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
Philly has done a great job of building with super-athletic young players, and Milton more than fits that bill. He's a very well-rounded and versatile talent who might push for a rotation job soon, so this should be seen as a bit of a steal for the Sixers.

Fantasy impact
It's hard to see any of the three players in this deal playing a major role in Year 1, but keep an eye on the progress of all three for deeper keeper / dynasty fantasy formats. All three have intriguing talent, and Milton especially is worth watching for in '18-19.
