TONY BRADLEY BROUGHT IN BY DETROIT
The Detroit Pistons acquired center Tony Bradley and guard Saben Lee from the Utah Jazz for cash.
What does it give the Detroit Pistons
In Bradley, the Pistons acquire a center with some untapped potential. He came off the bench last season as part of the Jazz rotation for the first time and held his own. He will probably compete with Thon Maker for the starting job in Detroit (barring more moves). Lee is a long-range prospect as a combo scoring guard, but he does have decent upside.
What does it give the Utah Jazz
Utah sent their backup center to Rudy Gobert to Detroit and tossed in their 2020 second-rounder in what seems like a house-cleaning move. The Jazz even gave the Pistons a little cash as added incentive. Utah selected center Udoka Azubuike in Round 1, which largely made Bradley expendable. The Jazz also still have veteran center Ed Davis on the roster.
Fantasy impact
Bradley may have some value in deeper leagues if he wins the starting center job with Detroit, but that is not a foregone conclusion at this point. Lee has no immediate fantasy value but he could be a late-round consideration in deep keeper formats.
